Rock Garden admission card, 7 December

This printed admission card for the Rock Garden in Covent Garden, London, reads “To see: The New English at Breakthrough I”, for Monday 7 December 1987, 7.30pm to 3am, at a special admission price of £3 to be paid at the door. Breakthrough I was the name of the night, and the card’s conditions run down the right edge, including an age limit of 18 and no refunds or transfers. The Rock Garden was a basement music venue at The Piazza, Covent Garden, and the card’s design runs its name down the left side in red and grey.
