This pre-printed admission card for The World at Zeeta’s, a club in Putney, is headed Presents Live. The band name, the day and the stage time have been filled in by hand: The New English, Thurs 11th Feb, onstage 10.30pm. The printed text gives the club’s opening hours, a smart-casual dress code and entry prices with the card of £2.00 from Monday to Thursday and £3.00 on Friday and Saturday. The show fell in February 1988, in the last weeks of the band’s main period, and the club’s address on Upper Richmond Road runs along the foot of the card.
